In 1966, California's rough and rowdy Beach Boys were at it again. Over the next two years, what might have been their triumphant 12th album slowly became the best album that was never made. In 2011, the world was given a glimpse into the once-lost album named "Smile."

And it definitely sounded like an album from the 60s.
